He is “LORD”

“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a savior, which is Christ the Lord”  (Luke 2:11)

In the Gospels, He is most often called “Jesus,” although both His title “Lord” and office “Christ” were emphasized at His birth (Luke 2:11). It was not until the book of Acts that the title “Lord” became more commonly used and began to take on the characteristics of a name.
