Keys To The Word was originally published in 1887 by Lentilhon & Co. in New York and represents a lifetime of theological study by Dr. A. T. Pierson. This help to study the Bible was, in his words, his humble attempt to unlock some of the hidden beauties of scripture. His deepest desire was a persons union with Christ; secondly, to encourage and stimulate all Christian believers who have found, in Christ Jesus, the completeness of life and blessing. He felt the understanding of scripture was the key to this. Some of the words have been changed from the 1800s to current English, but the content is as fresh today as when it was written.

Each book of the Bible is presented in a concise overview, which includes the key word, key verse and the divisions.

Gene Mikell is a veteran communicator with a long background in radio broadcasting, having created many talk and variety programs to include interviewing authors, public officials and many well-known personalities. He continues a special interest in various communication fields.
